LCD Display Implementing Display Functions

LCD Display Liquid crystal is a very familiar noun for people nowadays. Many large screens, such as computers, televisions, mobile phones, LCD Display and street edges, are using LCD screens to achieve display functions.

At the end of 19th century, chemists found that some solid organic matter did not become liquid directly after heating, but in a certain temperature range between solid and liquid and then into liquid at high temperatures. It is different from the liquid which can flow freely, LCD Display also differs from the regular ordered crystal, it has the structure characteristic between the two.

Because it has both the fluidity and the optical and electrical properties of similar crystals, it was thought to be a liquid crystal, referred to as liquid crystals. There is also a view that the state of matter, besides the most common three states of solid, liquid and gas, LCD Display should be combined with liquid crystal and plasma.

Now chemists have found that molecules capable of forming liquid crystals tend to have a specific geometric shape, often with long, long, rod-like structures with large, polar groups. In a certain temperature range, the long rod molecules of liquid crystals do not flow as freely as liquid molecules, but tend to arrange and flow parallel to each other in the same direction. The position relationship between liquid crystal molecules as if a bunch of loose toothpicks, each other almost parallel and heading in the same direction, but the end is still uneven, not as strict and orderly as the crystal.

The presence of polar groups in the liquid crystal molecule causes an uneven distribution of the charge within the molecule, leading to the polarity of the liquid crystals. Liquid crystal displays are made using this phenomenon.
